Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms of Service explain how Briteline Studio works with clients and what you agree to when you use our website, request a website review, book a call, approve a quote, pay an invoice or work with us.

Briteline Studio provides website design, website improvements, booking system setup, enquiry flow setup, copy improvements, basic SEO support, website reviews and related digital support for service based businesses. You can contact us at hello@britelinestudio.com or visit our website at www.britelinestudio.com.

By using our website, submitting an enquiry, booking a call, approving a proposal, accepting a quote, paying a deposit or agreeing to work with us by email or message, you agree to these Terms of Service.

The exact services included in your project will be confirmed in writing before work begins. This may include website design, changes to your existing website, layout improvements, website copy improvements, booking form setup, enquiry form setup, confirmation emails, enquiry notifications, basic search engine optimisation, website reviews, launch support or ongoing support. Anything not included in the agreed quote or proposal may be treated as additional work and may be charged separately.

Prices will be agreed with you before work begins. Unless agreed otherwise, projects are usually paid as 50% upfront and 50% on completion. The first payment secures the project and allows work to begin. The final payment is due once the project is completed and before final handover, launch, transfer of ownership or delivery of final files, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Any third party costs are not included unless clearly stated. This may include website hosting, Wix subscriptions, domains, professional email accounts, booking tools, paid apps, plugins, stock images, fonts, payment processor fees, advertising spend or other software costs. These remain the responsibility of the client.

Clients are responsible for providing the information, content, images, access details, logins, brand assets, feedback and approvals needed to complete the project. This may include website text, business details, service information, pricing, policies, images, booking preferences, email addresses and any other relevant information. If this information is delayed, the project timeline may also be delayed.

Any timelines or launch dates given are estimates unless confirmed otherwise in writing. We will always aim to complete work within the agreed timeframe, but delays may happen if information, access, feedback, approvals or payments are not provided on time. Briteline Studio is not responsible for delays caused by the client, third party platforms or circumstances outside our control.

Your project may include a reasonable number of revisions, which will be confirmed in your quote or proposal where relevant. Revisions usually cover small changes to the agreed design, layout, copy or setup. Major changes, new pages, a different direction, extra features, additional booking flows, new forms or work outside the original agreement may be charged separately.

If you choose to cancel a project after work has started, any upfront payment or deposit may not be refundable, as time, planning and resources may already have been committed to your project. If more work has been completed than the amount already paid, you may be invoiced for the work completed up to the cancellation date. If we need to cancel a project for any reason, we will explain this clearly and any refund will depend on the work already completed.

Ownership of the final website design, written content created specifically for your project and agreed project materials will transfer to you once full payment has been received. Until full payment is made, Briteline Studio retains ownership of the work produced. Third party tools, platforms, templates, apps, software, fonts, plugins, stock images and other external materials may be subject to their own licence terms and do not become owned by you unless their provider allows it.

We may use third party platforms and tools to provide our services. This may include Wix, Google Workspace, Calendly, payment providers, booking tools, analytics tools, email platforms, project management tools, social media platforms or other software. We are not responsible for problems caused by third party platforms, including downtime, technical issues, pricing changes, account restrictions, data loss, service changes or changes to their terms.

Where we set up booking systems, enquiry forms, confirmation emails, notifications or customer journeys, we will take reasonable care to set them up properly based on the information you provide. However, you are responsible for checking that all details are correct, including prices, services, availability, booking rules, email wording, contact details and customer information before using the system publicly.

Briteline Studio may help improve your website, booking journey, enquiry flow, search visibility and customer experience, but we cannot guarantee a specific number of enquiries, bookings, sales, leads, search rankings, revenue or business results. Your results may depend on many factors outside our control, including your market, pricing, offer, reputation, location, competition, traffic, reviews, follow up process and wider marketing activity.

Any SEO, marketing, conversion or booking advice is provided to improve your chances of better performance, but it should not be understood as a guarantee. We will always aim to make practical and thoughtful recommendations, but final business decisions remain your responsibility.

Ongoing support, admin, booking management, maintenance, website updates, content changes or additional improvements are only included if agreed in writing. Otherwise, any further work after project completion may be quoted and charged separately.

You agree not to misuse our website, copy our work without permission, attempt to access private areas of our systems, submit false information, use our services for unlawful purposes or behave in a way that is abusive, threatening or unreasonable. We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if a client behaves in a way that makes the working relationship difficult, unsafe or inappropriate.

Briteline Studio will not be liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of data, business interruption, missed opportunities or issues caused by third party platforms, client mistakes, incorrect information provided by the client or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

We may display completed work, designs, website screenshots, client names, feedback or project summaries in our portfolio, website, social media, marketing materials or case studies. If you do not want your project to be shown publicly, please let us know in writing.

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy. When you contact us, request a review, book a call or work with us, we may collect and use your information to respond to you, provide our services, manage your project and keep business records.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. The terms that apply to your project will usually be the terms in place at the time you agree to work with us, unless we agree otherwise.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a dispute arises, we will try to resolve it with you fairly and professionally first. If it cannot be resolved, it may be dealt with under the courts of England and Wales.
